Essentials Local Produce and Local People
Local Produce and Local People
The local inhabitants

Getting to know the local people means discovering their cuisine, which is the result of a combination of tradition, terroir, produce and demanding local farmers that take an active part in promoting Girona’s gastronomy. Our culinary tradition has a long, very rich history in which top quality locally-produced ingredients create local products that are acclaimed both at home and abroad.
